1990-1992 Tesco Stores Ltd Originally an Assistant Staff Manager I was promoted to Staff Manager of my own store in 1991.
1992-1996 Group 4 Security Services A regional multisite role in the North West, until relocating to Oxfordshire, that included  high volume recruitment and government level vetting and grievance and disciplinary activity within a unionised environment.  I was also involved in negotiation talks with propsective customers for new security contracts, developed and delivered training and generalist HR
1997-1998 Edward Jenner Vaccine Institute and IAH (part of BBSRC) HR managed a newly built Vaccine Research Institute within the fields of Biology & Immunology. My remit was the creation of 6-8 groups of Scientists in a purpose built £13M site. Additionally I assisted the Institute for Animal Health (IAH) HR Manager with management development, reviews, competence and administrating job evaluation for the IAH.
1998-2001 Oxford University Press(OUP)  Transitioned to Publishing Services in the OUP supplying HR to all non academic services.
2001-2003 Evotec OAI (formerly Oxford Asymmetry) Primary focus was on recruitment and training, I doubled headcount in 18 months from approx. 150 to 300 due to a high level growth requirement within medicinal, development and analytical chemistry depts.to support new contracts whilst providing internal generic training and  management development for all staff.
2003-2004 Medical Research Council A contract role I was brought in to support research sites and to check legal contract compliance across the Oxford Sites.
2004-2006 Cancer Research UK (CR-UK) I moved to CR-UK in a Regional role to oversee and manage approx. 400 staff. covering Southern & Central England and Wales
2006-2007 Cancer Research UK My role included employment relations & dispute resolution, job assessment, and learning & development, policy development, mediation & facilitation, restructure management and included closure of a warehouse facility. My next role  within CR-UK expanded to cover 3 areas or disciplines, Scientists within the 8 research institutes in universities and hospitals in Oxford, 7 community fundraising office teams across mid England to Cornwall and 98 retail Shop Managers across these regions.
2007 – 2010 Cancer Research UK Promoted to HR Project Manager as part of a 6 person national change project & cultural integration exercise (budget of 9.5M)  we successfully transferred under TUPE, 308 scientific staff to 8 universities within England and Scotland. Following the successful completion of the project I later moved from CR-UK due to a relocation to East Sussex.
2010-2011 STG An interim Generalist HR role within the School Travel Industry. This included the training of travel representatives in Europe to manage additional HR issues remotely whilst on winter sites.
2011-2015 VACGEN LTD (formerly VG Scienta) A stand alone HR Manager role with full autonomy and more strategic input to the business working directly with the MD and CEO to reshape the organisation. Activities included UK and international recruitment,  realignment restructures, management coaching & development, provision of training and creating culture change initiatives. Providing best practical and legally compliant solutions to complex issues.
2015 – Present Jkonsult Ltd & Jkonsult-HR Co-Director of Jkonsult Ltd. and Jkonsult-hr  I offer practical  advice and support on HR and people management services to suit requirements for businesses on a contract PAYG, consultancy or contract/interim HR basis.

Over the one and a half years I worked with Caroline, she displayed exceptional team and interpersonal skills and balanced these with practical HR and Change Management skills to get the job done. Within the Project there were a number of complex challenges with which Caroline proved her ability to think in novel ways, generate innovative proposals and make key decisions.

Caroline’s HR and Change Management skills were key to leading the team through a challenging programme and underpinned our successful delivery.
